Having got back to winning ways last weekend against Silhillians, the Nuns face a stern test away to Stourbridge this Saturday. Having not locked horns with our hosts since playing regularly in the National leagues the Nuns know they will have to match some of their best performances from this season to put them under pressure. Last weekend’s win saw the Nuns climb from 9th up to 7th with 19 points from 3 wins and 7 bonus points.. Stourbridge currently sit 5th with 28 points from 5 wins and 3 defeats and 8 bonus points.
The Saxons host Tamworth in the league and will be looking for their second win of the season after an encouraging performance last week. After going behind 19-0 within 15minutes they battled back but fell just short of a couple of bonus points with a final score of 31-19 at Atherstone. Tamworth come into the game off a heavy loss to Syston 99-5. The Saxons have 7 league points in 10th and Tamworth have 8 points and sit 9th.
The Saracens were due to play Earlsdon but they cannot fulfill the fixture.
The Colts travel to Barkers Butts for a friendly after a strong 41-0 league win over Broadstreet last weekend.
Team news: there is just one change to the starting pack with second row Tom Aherne returning for James Moreton who is unavailable.
The backline is unchanged from last weekend.
On the bench comes Dave Darker fresh from his Jamaica U20s game last weekend.
