Nuns V Leicester Forest Colts away to Broadstreet

The Nuns host Leicester Forest RFC tomorrow afternoon with just 3 games remaining for the season after another rest weekend. The Nuns currently sit 2nd in the league, level on 84points with Lutterworth, after their 72-19 victory over Kettering last time out. Leicester Forest come into the game in 9th position with 7 wins and a draw to give them 37points. Last time out they put in a strong performance to hold Northampton Old Scouts to a 12 all draw which saw NOS drop to 3rd in the league. When the two sides met earlier in the season, the Nuns came away with a 52-17 victory. The players have been preparing hard this week despite the rain disruptions and know that, as with all games, their opponents will offer a tough test.

The Saxons have had to pull out of their fixture with Syston due to forward injuries/unavailability’s.

The Saracens were victorious last weekend taking a hard fought 39-34 victory over Woodrush. They don’t have a game this week.

The Colts were also winners, 18-0, over Kenilworth in the Warwickshire Cup. They take on Broadstreet away tomorrow.

The 6 Nations also concludes tomorrow with all 3 games on in the club:

Wales V Italy 2.15pm
Ireland V Scotland 4.45pm
France V England 8pm

Team news: the pack sees one change from the previous outing against Kettering; Rudi Reid moving from back row to second row for Nick Walton and James Lloyd starting.
In the back line, Ben Kirby comes in for the unavailable Tom Smitham.
Ben Holmes and Nick Walton are joined on the bench by former Colt Mike Volaikisuva, who will be making his first team debut having rejoined mid-season from Bridgnorth where he has played some games in Regional 1 the last two seasons.
